Berkeley: Garden Village Project Construction Update

The Garden Village project in Berkeley made quite a few headlines when it was first announced back in 2013. It primarily attracted attention for its rooftop gardens and for it's unusual eco-conscious design (another Stanley Saitowitz/Natoma Architects project no less). Though according to one source the project broke ground in mid-2014, other than site preparation, not much work appears to have been done. Let's hope construction will soon pick up as it would be a shame to miss out on such a great housing project.
